Trip highlights

Α journey to the roots of history and ancient civilizations! Mycenae was the kingdom of Agamennon, who, according to the Homeric epic poem, Iliad, led the expedition against Troy. It was the most important and richest palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece, inhabited since 2.500 B.C. The Archaeological Museum of Mycenae reveals valuable treasures, findings and remarkable insights into the achievements of the Mycenaean civilization that shaped the ancient Greek world forever after.

The Venetians used to call it the “Naples of the East”. Nafplio is a very special all-year-round destination that combines different architectural styles and cultural influences with natural beauty. It was the first capital of Greece, from 1823 till 1834, and it is famous for two historical landmarks -the castles of Palamidi and Bourtzi–, as well as for its scenic old town and the idyllic seaside walk under the walls of Akronafplia Fortress! Refreshing swims, tasty food and ice cream, and countless photo opportunities await you!

The cozy small town of Leonidio is a place of wild natural beauty that was characterized as a traditional settlement in 1977. It is the capital of the Tsakonia region, known for its cultural and linguistic particularities, and is considered one of the top climbing destinations in Europe offering over 2500 climbing routes with amazing views of the Myrtoan sea. Enjoy one of the most epic road trips in Greece, taking you from the beach of Plaka to the quaint mountain village of Kosmas in less than an hour. Along the route, you’ll have the chance to marvel at two monasteries literally hanging on the cliffs!

Traditional white houses with charming gardens, narrow alleys, and three beautiful beaches create a magical scenery that, at first glance, resembles an Aegean island. But you are still on the Greek mainland! The natural beauty and emerald-green waters of Kyparissi offer absolute relaxation and peace of mind. That’s why Kyparissi was one of the most beloved destinations of Prince Charles and Princess Diana!

Imagine diving into crystal-clear blue or green waters and lying on golden sands or white pebbles under the warm sun. Picture yourself seeing the most beautiful sunset with the Myrtoan Sea in the background. Fokianos, Vlychada, Plaka, Pounta and many more wonderful beaches can turn this dream into a reality!

Lively and quiet, medieval and modern, Monemvasia will steal your heart from the very first moment! Founded in the sixth century, it is considered as one of the oldest continually inhabited castle towns of Europe and one of the most beautiful medieval fortress-cities in Greece. As you pass through the medieval walls, with the Byzantine churches and spectacular sea views, you will be transported back in time!

Cape Maleas, also known as Kavomalias is a vital passage for sea trade due to its strategic geographical location. Find yourself on one of the most scenic trails offering breathtaking views of the endless blue sea of Cape Maleas and witness a fascinating shipwreck from 1978 just a few meters from the shore! Wander around the Agios Nikolaos geopark -a rare geological phenomenon of petrified tree trunks, roots and shellfish that date back to two or three million years- and uncover its treasures!

As soon as the ferry reaches the port of Elafonisos, you will feel like you have arrived in paradise. Elafonisos is famous worldwide for the exotic double beach of Simos with the stunning turquoise waters, the golden-pink sand and the unique sand dunes. Take your sea mask and action camera to always keep this one-of-a-kind experience in mind!
